We embrace innovative materials and technologies and are one of the few contractors in the regionwith the distinctive expertise, experience, and apparatus required to apply the polyurea roof-renovation system. |  | Polyurea is a two-component, spray applied roof coating that has quickly supplanted competing coating materials due to its great physical and monetary advantages. Polyurea contains minimal solvents, and sets up almost instantly due to chemical reaction, as opposed to solvent evaporation like other roof coatings. Because of this, polyurea has a distinct advantage over other roof coatings in that approaching inclement weather is not an issue.
| Fast set-up time offers another distinct advantage in that any required thickness can be achieved in a single application, whereas other roof coatings require two to three coats to cure properly yet reach the same thickness. This means more of the roofing dollar goes for material, and less for labor.
|  | Quick set time also allows for encapsulation of seams and fasteners in a single application without the need for labor-intensive caulk or mastic. This gives polyurea as a system an important advantage in that there is nothing wasted on "hands-and-knees" labor, and instead goes for the actual application of the product.
